Hi! Looking for site design ideas? Need a bit of inspiration for the look and feel? If so, take a look at this site which has a list of snapshots from sites of all different types of design and genre.

When you click the links on the site gallery, (in most cases), you are taken to that particular site with that design. So, you can see an exact use, not just 'a-design-idea'. Also checkout their right hand sidebar links for more ideas.

Its great for design ideas, but not as helpful as to give you exact links to where you can find the exact WP / HTML code to actually import and use the designs yourself. (And this is a little of what I mean about time-wasting sites, where you spend hours searching for designs, and find some stuff that you'd like to use;  but then, there are no links to give it to you). It is annoying!

My best advice here, is to find what you want design wise and if you are not able to implement the work yourself, go to Elance.com or Rent-a-Coder.com and contract the work out to someone.

You will only pay for results, if you know what you want and can show images and give detail for the content on your website.

Fav Icon Dimensions

Hi, This is an old post of mine from another blog, but it is still relevant in 2012.

Your Fav Icon, (now readily available in Blogger) is part of your corporate image. At least it helps differentiate your site in the tabs bar.

Tips are:- that you should make the Fav Icon Pic small in size and KB (Kilobytes), it should be colorful and if possible totally unique. Something that is your own design, a LOGO if you will.

I had found the computer stuck in a closing-down mode, due to automatic updates that were down-loaded and installed. When I restarted (I had to soft restart), all my desktop was messed up!
